LOBSTER GIRL IN ÓS: THE JOURNAL #3

Recently, Ós Press released the third volume of Ós: The Journal. It includes a new(ish) short story by myself titled Lobster Girl. This is the second time that Ós Press has published one of my stories, and the story in question is the first story that I release in English in some time. I’m very proud to have my name among their roster of contributors yet again.

The work that Ós does is extremely important, as Iceland is severely lacking in publication venues for authors who are not yet ready for book publication—as well as published authors who wish to find somewhere to put their shorter or more experimental work. Furthermore, Ós has made it their mission to provide a space for fringe voices within the Icelandic publishing world, which due to its size and instability can at times not act as progressively as one might hope.

Ós #3 includes thirty writers, poets and artists from all across the world. All contributors either live in Iceland or share some deep connection with the country. The writing itself is in five different languages. I urge you to secure yourself a copy in order to experience something new and fresh within the Icelandic publishing scene, and to support Ós so that they can continue with their mission.
